Issue

  • SMHV backup fails by SnapManager for Hyper-V is not licensed on the host or in the Storage System, backup is aborted

  • SnapMgrServiceHostDbg.log shows same error

ProcessID= <PID> ThreadID= <TID> SnapManager for Hyper-V is not licensed on the host or in the Storage System, backup is aborted

  • SnapDriveDebug.log shows licensed = false

General Verbose IsServiceLicensedOnStorageSystem: Vservser = '<SVM>', licensed = false

  • Snpdrvdbg.log indicates that connection to the SVM fails
