SCV failed to restore with error "snapshot does not exist" with snapshot valid

Issue

  • SCV restore fails:
Restore failed with exception: Single File Snapshot Restore Failed: Failed to perform Single File SnapRestore.
Failed to restore file from Snapshot copy snapshot Name for volume <Volume Name> on Vserver <SVM Name>.
Reason: File or snapshot does not exist.
 
Unable to mount datastores: datastore1 in Backup: 181.
Failed to create volume clone for volume volume1:/vol/vol_l: Failed to create the volume clone. 
Failed to retrieve Snapshot copy information. Reason: The snapshot name does not exist.
  • Job is stuck at 80% in vCenter, even though SCV shows job failed
