SCE Failed to mount the Snapshot copy - Failed to mount the resource

Applies to

  • SnapCenter plug-in for Exchange (SCE) 4.2 and later
  • Backup of passive DBs on iSCSI disks

Issue

During restore the disk fail to be attached to the Active node with following error:

(Restore failed. Details: Failed to mount snapshot. Details: Failed to mount the Snapshot copy.Failed to mount the resource: <mount_point> from snapshot: <snapshot_name>. No disk is found on all nodes.
Possible Resolution: Make sure that Host to storage connectivity is available.
