Issue

  • When updating your Windows 2019 system with KB500822 or KB5001342 through Windows update, it could disrupt SC Server, or the Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) services.
  • On the SC server the World Wide Web Publishing (W3SVC) Service may not start with the message:

Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.

  • On the plugin host the Net.Msmq Listener Adapter (NetMsmqActivator) service may not start with the same error message as above, since MSMQ service does not start either and it is required by SnapCenter.
  • The Windows Process Activation (WAS )Service, which the above mentioned services depend on, is stopped and does not start with the error:

Error 1413: Invalid index.
