Answer

Restoring virtual machine (VM) using a backup taken before VMware Storage vMotion is supported unless VM is in transit.

Note: Restoring application like SQL Server and Oracle Database is not supported after VMware Storage vMotion.

Note: Restore is not possible if the Moref ID is changed by vMotion (Like cross vCenter vMotion).
