How to change the maximum log file size and the number of log files to retain for SMCore SAL log

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft Windows (SCW) 4.8 and below
  • SnapCenter Server (SC) 4.8 and below

Description

  • SnapDriveSALDebug.log in SC_Install_Dir\SMCore is Storage Abstraction Layer (SAL) log of SnapCenter SMCore Service.
  • The default maximum log file size is 20MB and the default number of log files to retain is 20.
  • Rotated log files are retained as SnapDriveSALDebug...log .
