  • ONTAP 9.x
  • NDMP

Answer

  • If the mover window length is greater than 4TB, and even though it is a valid one, the NDMP server changes it to INFINITY internally.
  • It’s not unusual to see the “invalid – changing to INFINITY” message in logs.
  • This message can be ignored unless the NDMP operation fails.

Additional Information

Under certain conditions, this might cause Data Management Application using Direct Access Recovery (DAR) operations to fail. See also  BUG 1352800.
