Answer

  • NDMP debug logs can potentially consume up to 2.8 GB of space on root
  • NDMP log files have a fixed size of 80 MB
  • Up to 36 logs can exist at one time -- An active log, as well as history logs
  • Logs roll over and eventually overwrite, with the oldest log overwritten, first
  • The space utilized by 36 logs at 80 MB each will not exceed 2.88 GB.

Additional Information

2.88 GB utilized assumes debug logging is left enabled, and there is sufficient activity to fill each log to 80 MB.
