What does the autosupport message "FabricSwitchPowerFail_Alert" mean?

MetroCluster Health Monitor (FHM) AutoSupport messages are triggered when certain MetroCluster backend switch conditions are detected. FabricSwitchPowerFail_Alert is triggered when a powersupply of the MetroCluster backend switch has a failed power supply or a the power is interrupted.

What actions do I need to take?
  • Verify if a support case is open
  • Verify if the there is a power issue within the data center
  • Verify if maintenance is ongoing in the data center
