Issue

A user may be unable to configure IPv6 gateway with gateway's Global Address and also might be unable to ping/ssh to Brocade Switch after configuring the IPv6 gateway address with the gateway's Link Local address.

While setting the IPv6 gateway address, the switch might report the following error message:
Switch:admin>ipaddrset -ipv6 -add -gwyip 2a01:4fc2:2033:d114::1
IP address is being changed...
Address change failed: internal error (-1)
