  • Automatic Non Disruptive Upgrade (ANDU)

Issue

  • After an Automatic Non Disruptive Upgrade of ONTAP, the BIOS version remains the same.
SP event logs shows:
 
Automatic firmware update skipped (Storage OS halted).
Warning: The boot media contains a newer firmware image (11.11).
Please run 'update_flash' at the Loader prompt to update your system firmware (11.9).
