ONTAP System Manager fails to create volume or migrate a volume due to Resource Allocation settings

Issue

  • While creating a volume ONTAP System Manager encounters the following error:

ONTAP API Failed: Cannot create volume. Reason: aggregate aggr1 is not in aggr-list of Vserver vserver1

  • When attempting to migrate a volume from one aggregate to another, the desired destination aggregate is not selectable.
