Description

  • The preferred method of upgrading OnCommand Workflow Automation (WFA) is to do an inline or in-place upgrade
  • This article addresses common issues encountered when performing upgrades
Symptom
Solution
Could not take Backup of WFA database successfully. Aborting upgrade. In-place upgrade of WFA fails while creating WFA database backup
Could not verify schema validation WFA Installation/Upgrade Failure - Could not verify schema validation
Install or upgrade hangs when using a long password OnCommand WFA hangs when using long password
WFA upgrade does not contain correct installed packs WFA upgrade does not copy correct installed packs
