Answer

Unified Manager is accessible by the OnCommand Web console and Operation Manager console(Legacy UI). The OnCommand Web console requires Flash player as per OnCommand Unified Manager Core Package 5.x documentation,

Follow the below recommendations (as per issue 1334721) when using OnCommand Unified Manager Core Package 5.x after end of life:

  • Only use supported web browsers that are listed in the Interoperability Matrix tool for OnCommand Unified Manager Core Package 5.x. Do not upgrade the browser beyond the supported version.
  • NetApp also recommends isolating the OnCommand Unified Manager Core Package 5.x. server from the network to prevent unauthorized access. Connect the server only to the network of storage systems, which can help block vulnerabilities exposed by Adobe Flash player.
