Issue

  • file share creation attempt using SCVMM 2019 fails with error:Creating volume <volume name> on storage pool <storage pool name> failed with error code 4:{SM_RC_GENERIC_FAILURE}Invalid URL: Hostname could not be pursed.
  • There is nothing on cm_event logs as it was getting failed before reaching SMI-S provider.
