Answer

  • When a monitor triggers an alert for an object that was discovered through a NetApp ONTAP Data Management Software data collector, an additional configuration is considered when determining the recipient list for the alert notification.
  • This type of data collector has its own notification configuration, and any monitor alert triggered by an object associated with that data collector will result in a recipient list that includes the union of both the data collector's notification setting and the monitor's notification setting.
