Issue

  • After restarting OnCommand Insight Data Warehouse ( OCI DWH ) services, the IBM Cognos services do not start.
  • Testing the Content Store from IBM Cognos Configuration fails at Testing Content Manager database connection with the error:

    [Content Manager database connection]
    [ ERROR ] The database connection failed.
    [ ERROR ] Content Manager failed to connect to the content store. The connection string is "jdbc:db2://hostname-or-ip:50000/cm:retrieveMessagesFromServerOnGetMessage=true;fullyMaterializeLobData=false;clientProgramName=IBM_C11_CM;". The error encountered is: "[jcc][t4][2012][11248][4.25.23] Connection authorization failure occurred.  Reason: Password expired. ERRORCODE=-4214, SQLSTATE=28000"
