  • NetApp Management SDK 5.3.1 or later 
  • 7-Mode Systems

Issue

After upgrading the NetApp Management SDK (NM-SDK) to version 5.3.1 or newer, API calls start failing with error:

javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:

  • Server chose SSLv3, but that protocol version is not enabled or not supported by the client
  • SSL is enabled in the 7-Mode System
  • TLS is disabled in the 7-Mode System
