UM with limited memory resources crashes with Java heap space error

Applies to

• ActiveIQ Unified Manager (UM) 9.9
• RedHat Operating System (RHEL) with limited available memory

Issue

• Due to the virtual infrastructure there is limited memory available for the virtual machine
• After the upgrade to 9.9 UM regularly hangs
• A restart is needed until the issue re-occurs
• An error occurs in the server.log
