Answer

  • If autosize is disabled, calculation will be based on total volume size.
  • If (autosize is enabled) AND (max auto-size > actual size), THEN calculation will be based on:
    • If (available space on aggregate) > (automaxsize - actual size) OR (volumespaceguarantee is not volume) THEN
      • Based on (automax size - snapshot reserve space)
    • ELSE based on (actual size - snapshot reserved space) reserved after auto increment.
