Volume Compression

Answer

Flash Cache can cache data from volumes on which compression has been enabled.
Only the uncompressed blocks from these volumes are cacheable. Compressed blocks are not inserted into Flash Cache.
However, enabling Flash Cache on volumes with compression enabled will have a performance impact in CVO systems.
Hence the recommendation is to disable compression on all volumes in CVO Flash Cache enabled systems.
