Mediator instance is in failed state with the error “HA cluster is not highly available. Unknown mediator error."

Issue

  • Failed to validate the route table as the mediator instance was not healthy.
  • Unable to revert the LIF back to its home failed after Takeover/Giveback. Failed with the below error.
    "Error: command failed: Failed to update external route tables for IP "X.X.X.X". The system failed to successfully complete all tasks associated with the update."
