Description

Procedure to update expired client secret for Azure Application Service Principal in BlueXP credentials.

NOTE:
  • BlueXP supports both Managed Identity and Azure  Application Service Principal for credentials that help login to Azure for Cloud resource creation and management.
  • Azure Application Service Principal client secret key can be updated from BlueXP UI before expiry, but once expired use procedure below as there is no way to change the backend database once client secret key expires and new secret key is updated on BlueXP UI -> credentials.
  • This issue also affects CI login as authentication to CI is also coming via BlueXP
