Applies to

Kubernetes versions (v1.11 – v1.13)

ONTAP clusters with iSCSI drivers  (ontap-san, ontap-san-economy)

Issue

When installing/upgrading to Trident v20.07.0 or Trident v20.07.1 on Kubernetes [1.11 – 1.13], users may observe IQNs being removed from the igroup on their SVM.

This happens when:

1.  Upgrading Trident to the releases mentioned above.

     (OR)

2.  Restarting the Trident controller pod.

      (OR)

3.  Updating an ONTAP iSCSI backend.
