Issue

Reestablishing iSCSI paths to existing Trident PVs fail due to using old CHAP secrets:

<NODE_FQDN> iscsid[#]: iscsid: Login failed to authenticate with target iqn.1992-08.com.netapp:<STORAGE_NODE_SVM>
<NODE_FQDN> iscsid[#]: iscsid: session <SESSION_NUMBER> login rejected: Initiator failed authentication with target

The node's system messages would contain an authentication failure on the new iSCSI sessions started to the target.
