Issue

  • Disk shelf reports SES status warning in the event/EMS logs:

     SAS expander warning for SAS shelf electronics X: non-critical status; Backplane VPD SEEROM corrupt or unreadable.

  • 'environment status' and 'storage show fault' will show the below output:

     Environment Status:

         Shelf status: non-critical  condition

SAS Expander Module installed element list: 1, 2; with error: 1, 2 

    Storage show fault:

Enclosure Status: non-critical
